Interesting choice and I've taken time to consider all the ways loyalty can be applied in our lives. For instance we can be a loyal fan loyal customer or loyal to a particular political party.
For me personally the first thing that popped into my head was an image of my husband. It was week 4 or 5 of my hospital stay and I had woken up before he did. The light from the hall gave me a shadowy view of him reclining back in the makeshift bed. He had covers over his entire body and I don't mean just placed over him, they were cocoon-style around him. He even had his entire head covered! This was truly out of character for him, that he does not like his face covered.
That image is forever burned into my mind. A cherished memory of how much he loves me. So much that he slept in that uncomfortable recliner wrapped up like a caterpillar. To me that's loyalty loyal to me, our love, our vows. My husband gave me hope, something to fight for. Without his love and support I would've been lost.
