When it is 104 degrees, with a heat index of 110 degrees....the last thing I want to do is cook! During this wretched summer heat, I turn to my "friend" the Crock-Pot! Here I have simply placed some chicken breast, chicken broth, and seasonings in the slow cooker.....I even placed some fresh basil on the top. (yes I am growing basil now!) The aroma from the fresh basil is amazing! I wasn't expecting that!

Dylan is a ham! He loves to have his picture taken, as long as he is "doing something"....here he is being a spider. hahahaha These Zippy Beef Tips are heavenly and very easy to make :)
Place 1 /12 lb stew meat into greased 2 qt dish w/lid. Spread a can of cream of mushroom over the beef, top with an envelope of dry onion soup mix and then pour a cup of 7-UP over all.
Do Not Stir!
Cover with lid and bake 3 1/2 to 4 hours at 275 degrees.....yum!
